Take a look at this. This is just a small proportion of brittle pieces in my collection that I've discovered over the course of assembling my kits for sale on ebay.
Many more I've just thrown out, I started recently collecting all the broken discolored parts I've found though.
So many fucking 1v1 cheese slopes in blue break instantly when putting them on a stud. Recently I found plate after plate after plate of 2x10 Blue plates breaking when disassembling a set. It's unbelievable, and this is from over a decade ago. I can't imagine how bad the quality is these days with new sets.
I have hundreds of 1v1 technic studs that are brittle blue. What's strange is some of them aren't even discolored, my blue plates just snapped like brittle blue but isn't as discolored as the other brittle pieces are.
Fuck Lego, no excuse for a company that once pride itself on its quality control. It no longer exists.
