Btw, I want to say thanks to the anon from the other day who gave advice on how to approach fixing up the paint on this Arcee kit. You were dead on about avoiding solvent paints, solvent paints like the Tamiya paint I bought are not easy to work with.
I eventually found two good water based paints that got me really close when mixed to the pink colour of the kit, and even though the patches to repair were minor it makes it much nicer to hold and look at now that it's cleaned up.
I'm still undecided on panel lining it though, I get the impression that due to the small scale of the figure might make it look a it off if I do.
