But Lego is a toy like no other that has endless possibilities and requires a lot of creativity and complex thinking that continues well into adulthood. I rationalize it this way: not just with Friends, but Paradisa and other girly Lego themes: they have unique pieces not found in most other sets/themes, particularly domestic related (food, plates, cats/dogs/crabs, etc.). This was more the case in the 1990s-2000s. Less so now, as they included fish, wine bottles, crabs, etc. in the two most recent Pirates lines. Not only that, but if you can get past the pink/purple colors, alot of them are like most other Lego sets.
