>>10510788Shit, a respectful remastering of Micron Legend and Superlink would be fucking fantastic. At the end of the day if I had to choose I'd still say Beast Wars is prolly most deserving of a visual remake, even if its animation has surprising bits of charm, but I wouldn't turn that down for the former two UT shows whatsoever. Maybe even some new bits inbetween the two shows, showing stuff like Hot Shot stepping down from leader, and the development of Optimus coping with his fighter's nature as a lead-in to the latter show as a barrel-chested cadet trainer.
>a liveaction Armada movieEh, kinda lost me there, I can't really see it honestly; too much of its best parts take place far away from humanity, so if anything an animated film would be preferrable.
On that note though, while watching Galaxy Force, I had the distinct thought
>Man, I wish they would make an animated theatrical film that was this bombastically shounen.Moments like Primus nunchucking two moons at a giant cosmic Starscream resulting in the latter's face crashing into the side of a planet sending shockwaves across it, or Optimus's big winged super mode wielding Metroplex's gigantic excavator just to punish the two Velocitron comic relief Decepticons, were MEANT for a fantastic big-budget animation on the big screen.
Most of all though, I just want them to generally get that bold in reimagining established characters, and creating brand new ones. Superlink's Roadbuster immediately endeared himself with how dorky his design and naive personality made him (when the fuck are we getting HIM in Legacy??), and he quickly became only more of a fucking unit as the show went on (his infiltration of Alpha-Q's base up to facing Scorponok had me almost cheering at the monitor lmao), and he was p much completely made up. Kicker still best human character btw.
Returning bots are great, but I really want new ones in the lead roles again.
