>>8038683You are correct, the set is not for sale, but the idea remains the same. They are making it harder for you to obtain it in order for it to continue having high value. Perhaps not monetary value, but value nonetheless.
The point I was trying to make is that they are manipulating bricklink in order to keep you from getting something you might want easier.
I would not be surprised if they started doing this for sets that they do sell.
