>>10365703>it’s more just that six inch is the new thing. Are you a shitty zoomer and aren't even aware of the fact Hasbr had been sabotaging their 1:18 lines in order to make collectors focus on the 6" lines?
Look at this figure from the last year of the MU line. They cut out the cut hips. They cut the double jointed elbows. They cut out the ballhinged wrists. They cut out the torso joint. They cut out the hinged ball joint at the neck. They also increased the price, despite all those cuts.
The MU line had been hugely successful. The wave in the year before this figure came out was pretty rare, because it was selling out, despite Hasbro pushing the 1:12 line hard.
Fact is, Hasbro wants the 1:18 lines dead, because they want everyone to focus on their 1:12 lines and make $25 instead of just $13 (yes, i know that's not what they actually make per unit, but i don't know their actual costs).
It's part of why Hiya Toys delayed their 1:18 GI Joe line, because they found out they can't sell them in North America and are trying to negotiate north American distribution.
They know collectors want the 1:18 figures still and the fact is that Hasbro is cockblocking everything with their low effort tax deductable shit on a stick.
