So DC now has 2 ongoing 4" lines, a cheaper kid oriented one and the more collector oriented Injustice 2, and has had a smattering of other stuff like the Batman 66 figures.

Meanwhile Hasbro has obliterated all their 3.75/4 inch properties, even where that was traditionally the only scale they were in.

So what does Hasbro(and previously Mattel) have against this scale? From what I can see, kids love it, collectors love it, it kept costs down and made displays and playsets easier.

Hasbro forced everyone to downside from Marvel Legends to Marvel Universe back in the late 00s, and then back up again in the mid 10s. It really feels like a lot of these decisions made by these comapnies are down to one or two guys with a vision of what the lines "should" be rather than what people actually want or what sells.
