I assume if these quality control issues were THAT bad, there would be a very big controversy about it. I still can't tell just how big of an issue this all is but I feel like the fact that I see so many people posting about brittle/cracked pieces is telling of a bigger problem. It could just be that I'm looking to deeply into a rarer issue, but I feel like maybe it's just not worth getting into LEGO again or at least not right now. I never had or heard of these issues that you hear about now with new LEGO when I was a kid, and honestly if LEGO wasn't so expensive I wouldn't care as much. Maybe I'll give bootleg LEGO a try? IDK
