>>7022406I had this happen to me with a small ebay lot recently. I washed the figures with dish soap, then sealed the figures in a container with baking soda for 2 weeks. When I pulled them out, they were better but still some odor. I washed them once more then left them in an open window where they could ventilate in direct sunlight for over a week. The window treatment seemed to really help. By the end I had to put my nose up to the figures and really sniff hard to even get a hint of the odor. I thought they were trashed because the smell was pretty strong when they arrived, all the packing materials and even the box itself reeked. I told the seller and got a generous partial refund. I told them I wasn't going to leave feedback because of the condition of the figures and they offered.
