I'm hoping that they tweak him so he's upright like in the cartoon, because I never liked the toy crouch playmates gave him, although I understand it's to give him a crocodile shape (and fit him in the package like kneeling shredder), it also made his toy much smaller than the turtles, compared to his size in the cartoon.
The joint that immediately springs to mind is the lego killer croc one - it allows his head to look straight up for the semi-prone crocodile position, but would also allow him to stand up straight and reposition his head to look forward. Having said that, I'm not sure this joint would look as nice on a heavily detailed toy, it kind of depends on the clean cartoony aesthetic to disguise the joint.
