>>10689803This is getting messy - you continue to say I'm being vague AFTER I pointed you to the very specific post I was talking about.
>Latter two points are Rom-onlyYes...? I was responding to this: "He's still the nicest in the historical and romance accounts..." Referring to RoTK was valid, yes?
>don't throw olive branches at me, I'm going to post an angry response too quickly and then continue to get madI wasn't mad, honestly. I may have misunderstood, I will concede that, however: "It's fine to like whoever for whatever depiction of said character as long as you are not being vague about the source" sounds like a contradiction to me or at the very least you are trying to add a qualifier to something that is subjective...
Again, I am being sincere in my apology, and if the tone is coming across aggressive - the comment about your native language/ being on the spectrum - I suspect we all have a touch of the 'tism, given where we are and the rising intensity of the convo.
Given the multiple sources we are talking about - most depictions are vague or focus to the point of tunnel vision on single characteristics of a person or even straight up fabricate aspects of a character, DW Zhang He being zesty af or SK Lu Bu being violent Pavarotti - and the original point being about a hypothetical cross over of two completely different sources - ancient china vs fictional robots from outer space...
I'll simply apologise/ concede and leave it there.
