>>10760648>>10760955>butthurt weeb responsesThank you for proving my point
>>10760719>but doesnt seem quite up to import qualityI like how you think you can judge this from a video.
It's no different than Japanese collector figures (i own the toy and he appears in this pic).
You know why? Because they're just plain plastic, separate from the painted body. That paint iss what makes a lot of western figure's joints not smooth feeling in most cases, because it gets inbetween thejoints. The tolerances you're talking about isn't some super special expensive technique, because every toy company using high pressure injection molding gets the same results. (And mold issues only happen when the 500,000th-1,000,000th figure is produced, as the mold does eventually start showing wear that it passes onto the figure.)
And you're proving the case that it's butthurt weeaboos is what causes the anti-import attitude.
You just want to disagree with the actuality, because you can't stand the fact that western companies can produce better or nearly as good for very cheap prices. You have to believe they're flawed in someway or uncomparable, starting arguments and generally shitting up the thread with shitty rationalizations.
It's always the same shit.
If you were able to afford more toys, maybe you wouldn't need to try and justify the rip off prices. I can afford both Japanese collector toys and western toys, so my only justifications when buying shit is: Is it something i like? Does it look good?
Price is no issue below $200 for a single figure. $200+? That's eating into my overall buy-cool-shit budget for the week and i have other hobbies than just toy collecting.
Do note I'm excluding regular japanese toys, because the childrens action figures they make over there are complete shit. As good or worse than Mattel's lazyass figures.
