If TLG didn't exist then their competitors would be abke to be more competitive, plus there would no longer be one company clinging to the good minifig proportions with a trademark TLG going bankrupt would make lego style brick toys better not worse. I may not like any megabloks products really but it's great that they forced lego to give up their 4x2 brick trademark
