I got him and I like him well enough, articulation is nothing amazing but he can two hand weapons just fine, my only major gripe is getting weapons onto his hands is tough (or at least the weapon pack ones).

Forgot that the weapon pack included a shotgun which is pretty close to the Doom 1 shotgun (though I think that has a shorter barrel).
Very tough to get Doomguy to hold it correctly though, the trigger hole just does not want to go over his fingers so I ended up snipping one end of it to make it easier.
Holding it straight is also a bit of a issue too due to the soft plastic slightly warping but it's hard to notice unless you look at him from above.
