ROTF Bludgeon was an incredibly well received toy and Bludgeons since then have all looked the same - tank with a robot-skeleton-samurai altmode. I see no reason why they shouldn't follow suit with the rest of the team. Better to ignore the gimmick whiners and make toys people will actually buy. If the autists want their shells they can go to third parties for them.
