unfortunately the brand is probably dying, and western consumerism in general is going to pivot in a weird direction in the next decade, but it was good while it lasted. i'm glad i dipped out of collecting and especially retail stuff when i did, the infinite growth/replace your toy yearly/shortpacked shit trifecta feels like a race to the bottom, third parties and masterpiece are slowing down (although raiden gives me some hope)... i give it 5 years before we see some level of transformers in general being a boutique brand like
>>9971075 said and/or just the evergreen line hanging around to maintain presence in physical stores. none of these kids are buying $35 voyagers and being born in 97, me and most kids i hung out 'grew out' of toys for video games before we even hit 10. i didn't like transformers until i was a teenager and now i have to watch it die as an adult lol
