Just split it into 3 different settings (The books, the seasons where they use models, and the seasons where they use CGI) and things line up pretty well. Of course you still end up with shit like "How the fuck does Henry's new body make sense", but those sort of things are better off with you not thinking too hard about it.
But yeah, the dedicated fans that still keep up with episodes/new toys are turbo autists. I'll go and rewatch the first few seasons for nostalgia's sake, but I don't think I've watched anything released passed Season 5-6 other than The Adventure Begins. The only thomasfags I respect are the ones that actually make their own models like TheUnluckyTug, the Bachmann ones are alright but I cant stand the faces on their HO stuff.
