You will get ignored by almost everyone except for a couple of "thanks for doing this" posts up until the last few days before the contest is over, when everyone will start posting their builds. You're doing everything right (same info, same image). It's better to get it at the very beginning of the thread so everyone can see it, but as long as you keep using the same image and text you're good.
There's no such thing as spamming a thread with offers to give people free legos.
