>>10936015that was pure stupidity. the fandom was massive, and one only had to spend a day amongst them to see there was a huge desire for toys. people wanted action figures, plushies, and most of all, RP toys of all the weapons. They even showed off a prototype of Hulk hands-style Garnet gloves, then never released them despite the fan clamor. the best this show got was those knockoff-Lego sets from McFarlane, which people did not trust because of the bootleg Lego stigma (and let's face it, the McFarlane stigma too at the time, this was before his big comeback).
This brand was hugely mismanaged and they left a lot of money on the table.
