You have two options. Either you install the motor in the same direction as the first powered engine (which would be backwards of what the booklet says), or you go and buy a PF polarity switch and string that to your IR Receiver and your motor. The switch acts like an isolated, independent version of the reverser switch found on the PF train controller.
Horizon Express is the shit, especially when it's extended, so I hope you get it to work right.
