>>10341458I feel you on that one. The Inferno Truck was retired by the time I started collecting and it has two great side builds. I've got little interest in the actual inferno truck but I ordered parts for the tuk tuk and the panda store. Unfortunately, without the stickers the Panda Store doesn't quite hit right, but it's still a nice combini build. Pigsy's noodle shop being in the giant stinky mech set is a similar kick in the teeth. Honestly, the side builds are where a lot of MK sets shine.
Which figs did you get from Bricks and Pieces?
>>10342007top tier taste anon, that was my first MK set, now I'm 25 sets deep.
>>10341587MK is straight China panders since Blackrock/CIA is all about gays, niggas and gay niggas kissing which doesn't fly in China so MK will remain free of it.
But you're right on both the creativity of the builds and the colour pallet. Almost every set either has some great parts usage, some soulful detailing, good shaping or some wacky shit going on and the colour scheme, despite being more saturated than most themes manages to stay cohesive and not turn into a mishmash rainbow (ninjago) or as one-trick as Friends.
