>>10920366I'll be looking into it, reading the synopsis reminded me a bit of The Wild Geese. That's gonna be a sweet setup, can't wait to see it come together.
>looks like you managed to get everyone in on the fightWas geting a lot of inspiration from the animated film Wizards at the time, still enjoy the theme of having ancient, modern and futuristic warfare all mixed up in glorious battle. Did a write-up of the Train Raid back then (called it Epic War), probably still have it somewhere in my files but key points included:
>the initial attack on the train by the Clones>a sneak attack by the Red Army detachment getting blindsided by the Afrika Korps and further wrecked by the Wizard Fudde himself>a furious banzai charge from the castle to rescue the train and the Brits, Canooks and Aussies counter-charging>the spectacular annihilation of the merc squad and their intimidating but ultimately ineffective supertank>a bloody melee in the fields before the castle, backed by a cowboy gun line>the downfall of Wizard Fudde at the hands of the freed Norse Man>General Veers facing down the megaraptor amid the carnage. There had been the intention of making a series of campaigns within this setting; a short video inspired by the Halo 3 Monument trailer was made for Epic War 2 but things petered out from there. Perhaps a revisiting will come to pass at some point.
