>>6663774I d9n't rrsd this often enough, until recently I bought about one 3p figure a year. They look nice, but by god are they shit. I regret every purchase.
The one release I was the least sour about was the original maketoys battle tanker because it was pretty fun partsforming up my he kei laser optimus.
After that I fell for the Unique Toys meme. Provider and mania king, both aesthetically appealing, both definitely have nightmare transformations. The plastic is so course, with such sharp edges, as if it doesn't want to be played with.
Same goes for Toyworld Orionvil, my most recent purchase from a year ago. I regretted it straight from the first time I transformed it. Fuck the fucking shill reviewers who praise pieces of shit like this.
Such odd choices the 3rd parties make:
>all transformation joints are supertight>sharp edges all over, you can cut yourself on any panel>coarse, almost grainy plastic>transformations with ZERO room for parts to move aroundThen I got myself a TR Triggerhappy and I remembered what the fuck this hobby is all about to me, playing.
Third parties drop the ball in that area, they pander to the MP completionists who'll sell their own mother for a MP Omega Supreme, but they forget there's a whole market for adult collectors, with money, who want to enjoy a good smooth piece of plastic.
Iron factory looks like they might be playing a different game from the rest of them, but I'm not spending the money to risk such disappointment again.
This is why wei Jiang and kubianbao do so well, they dont fuck with the recipe for success, they just multiply/divide the ingredients to make an appropriately sized portion to your taste.
tl;dr fuck 3p
