This thread needs more build photos, and more technic. Here's my custom version of the ATV set, still in progress. This isn't actually the most recent version, but these are the photos I have at the moment. The original has a really ugly palette choice and too many stickers, so I swapped out all the white pieces and replaced them with more a consistent black and orange. I also chose to make the chainsaw white instead of orange to make it look less like a prescribed pair.
Additions beyond the color swaps include a modified bumper to fill in the trapezoid shape, better light/reflector clusters, a fender-mounted fire extinguisher, a much-improved handlebar with bushings and a throttle grip, and a few select stickers from the original set and 42121 heavy excavator, as well as tons of miscellany like tiles on the foot rest, improved tilt-lever for the bed, and hood details. For such a small detail, the little warning label on the mud flap is one of my favorite things.
There's also a lot I added that's not pictured here. I replaced the whole axle assembly and under the hood section with black pieces, there are two reflectors on the corners of the bed where the red axle sticks out, a trailer hitch, and I added a bully-bar type assembly to the front edge of the bed behind the seat. Things I want to continue adding include adding yellow suspension pistons to pull in a last dose of yellow to the palette, an exhaust pipe, gas cap, a trailer, portable gas generator, and a standing flood light that can fit in the bed.
I still have a lot of minute updates to make before I do a second photoshoot, but I'll do so soon enough. By the way I'm also the loser poking around about the KO McLaren so you can see why I like black and orange.
