>>10508644I usually have problems displaying really tall sets since they don't fit into shelving units very well. I've had to shrink down both my loop coaster and haunted house. I low-key think lego made it super tall just to inflate prices, because it worked just fine for me even after I shortened it by almost 12 inches. In fact, I think it looks better if you reduce its height because the carts no longer complete the whole track insanely fast, making it more fun to look at.
In any case, if you really have no space, dismantling sets to store it away is a good practice since by doing so, you'll probably force yourself to clean the dust that's accumulated. And since a big part of what makes lego enjoyable is the build experience, you can enjoy building it again as you rotate sets from display to storage and back to display again. Really big sets that aren't that fun to rebuild can stay permanently displayed though.
