>>6849398>>6849450>Amazon firstThere is no way this guy is not trying to trolling you. Amazon almost always has absurd markups on figures and has no protections in place against bootlegs. The hierarchy I go by is:
1. Amiami - Usually has great markdowns compared to MSRP. Very reliable and sometimes pops up some rare figures for pretty good prices.
2. Big in Japan - A little clunky, but fairly reputable.
3. Mandarake - Usually used figures, but new ones pop up occasionally. Very reliable.
4. Amazon - This is the beginning of last resort territory. Figure sellers tend to be third party, meaning your Prime membership won’t do shit for shipping. Moreover, returns are a gamble depending on the seller and there’s always the possibility of getting a bootleg.
5. eBay - Lower than Amazon for the same reasons, but more consistent. Occasionally you might get a cool seller who’s an exception.
6. YAJ - Absolute last resort. You’ll have to use a proxy like Noppin or Buyee here and their fees are absurd.
Hope this helps and you find what you’re looking for.
