Because it isn't purchase for a lot of people like the Sentinel or Galactus was. A lot of people consider those Haslabs must haves. This one is much more niche. It's fine for a Haslab if not overpriced for what it is. People are unreasonably mad about Mephisto being locked behind the $350 price point too.

Finally got AF15 in the mail. Ok I get why people are saying this Spidey is better than the Retro mold. A few tweaks here and there and it'd be perfect. Mostly it needs a seperate neck piece to help with tilt and then those toe joints from the RYV Spidey. Makes me excited for TAS Spidey and tempts me to get the Amazing Friends set even though I already have all the figures in that set.

I wouldn't say it's oegwarming in my area. Most of both eaves have cleared out of my local Targets. Just a handful of stragglers like some Shuris, Mbakus, Sabertooths (Saberteeth?) And Syrin. Everything else is pretty picked clean. Hose figures have only been around for the last two months or so for me at most. The legs still have a cross-pin in them that prevents pulling the leg apart, and they’re definitely not vertical pins like in a Mezco or import toy. More recently, I'd say in the last two years, yes. There was a time just prior to the pandemic when I felt like Hasbro was humming along on all cylinders, and I would have sung their praises, for the most part. Most of the lines I collect have taken a downturn, some a bit more than others, since around that time, so I don't want to pick on Legends only.

I’m sure that’s partially true but I’m also sure it’s 100% a money thing and they don’t want to spend more to give more Spidey’s the better articulation. Maybe in the future we’ll see it used more too, but I’m sure RYV, AF, and the amazing friends one were all planned around the same time.
All of that being said, RYV is a color match for the amazing fantasy one too, so you can swap the feet. I’m hoping Amazing friends is the same way, that will be my perfect Spider-Man once he has the feet.

I mean not everyone of these kickstarters is going to do well like HISS Tank, Galactus and the Sentinel. That's kind of the point/nature of these kickstarter projects. The whole point is to only make the thing if enough people want it. Don't get me wrong, they utterly fucked up by making this thing $100-$150 more than it should be and by picking an admittedly niche version of an already fairly niche character. But one of these Marvel Haslabs was bound to fail. I mean it's not like the utter disgrace that was the last two Star Wars Haslabs. Now those were shit shows.

Immkind of torn on these kickstarter projects from big companies. On one hand, it let's them make shit that absolutely wouldn't sell normally at retail. I don't care what you say, the Sentinel and Galactus would have dotted at retail until they hit heavy discount. But in the other hand, it lets the get this big inflated ego where they think they can charge $350 for an $80 toy car with $7 worth of LEDs in it. They need to feel it in and dial it back a bit. Refocus on the big things that the fans would want. I think dioramas would do gangbusters as a kickstarter. How cool would to be to set up your display as the Baxter Building, the X-Mansion, or the Daily Bugle? I have some Danger Room walls from all the old Marvel Select X-Men and they're great when setting up fun scenes. I think something more along those lines would sell a bit better since you can use them with a variety of figures/franchises.

I have her. Articulation is pretty rough. The single jointed elbows don’t even hit 90 degrees, and her hair gets in the way of most up/down head motion. She also has a hard time standing despite her weird big feet. The jacket deco is really nice though and the face sculpt is pretty decent.
Overall not great, but I doubt we’ll get another figure of her until the next crossover movie.

If the project is a dedicated diorama then I could see them giving you full plastic likemthe SW TVC ones. They just did the Navarro Cantina. I know they're different scales but I don't see it as an impossibility. Especially if the project was dedicated to the diorama. To give it a bit of context:
Johnny Blaze is the name everyone is familiar with because he was the original GR and that's who they went with for the movies. People know the Nic Cage movies, so they know Johnny Blaze.
Danny Ketch was the second Ghost Rider. He came in the 90s relaunch that SKYROCKETED the character's popularity. It's difficult to overstate just how popular he was in the 90s, but to give you an idea, he had his own toyline not connected to anything except the comics and was guest-starring in Spider-Man and X-Men books to boost THEIR sales. His incarnation created everything that modern Ghost Rider is known for (the penance stares, chains and spikes, all the popular villains etc.)
He has, by far, the most iconic design, even if he as a character has fallen by the wayside.
So when people want a figure of Ghost Rider, they want the version that everyone knows, and that version is Danny Ketch

Danny made GR popular but then Marvel shat the bed with all their books and almost went bankrupt.
So when they came back from the brink, they brought back Ghost Rider, but the writers they chose for it were all people who read Johnny Blaze books as kids, so they wanted to use him, but Danny's version was more popular, so they gave Johnny all the cool stuff Danny originated.
Just read the letters pages for those early 2000s GR books: it's all Gen Xers happy that Johnny is back, and everyone else is just asking about Danny.
At this point, Johnny Blaze has cemented himself as the definitive Ghost Rider. You'd have to be delusional to deny that. But Danny still has diehard fans and he hasn't had a proper figure since the Toybiz days, and since we've gotten a fucking Cosmic Ghost Rider and 3 (three) releases of the same OG Johnny Blaze look, you can see why people would want a Danny figure

Because they need future reveals to fall back on to keep the campaign marketed and of interest, and if the campaign fails they can use those molds later for regular figs if it was kept a secret that they were originally supposed to be for the haslab. if they just blew their entire load and showed all tiers and it still failed then they can't use Blackheart, and whoever else they created for this as normal releases.
