I feel like it may be nicer to have a couple very nice TFs than about 30-40 mid-range ones. I was thinking maybe getting MP-13, MP-21, and MP-10

Anyone else have this issue with SS86 Hot Rod? This is the closest his arms can get to his body without being flush with it. The left arm sticks out noticeably further than the right. Any idea what could have caused this or if there's any way to fix it? I just want his left arm to be able to get as close to his body as his right for a more neutral stance.

How is this remotely 'coming home'. It's just homogenizing the series without giving us anything new or valuable. For over twice the price, you get the handle-bars hanging out, the face looks stretched for Chug-style, no flip-out tonfa lights, etc.

Like it's neat to see Animated Prowl in this style, but Hasbro did the series dirty multiple ways and this is barely even a bone-throw. At least he's better than what they did to Prime Arcee, I guess.

I think the same. I don't need reinterpretations of the Animated characters, most of the original figures are perfectly fine representations already and plenty fun and good toys by themselves. I bought all the ones I wanted back when they where first released so if I'm in a mood for Animated I just get the originals out of storage and mess with them.

Now, if they released that Marauder Megatron proto or Powermaster Prime, then they would have my attention.

As someone who already owns the Siege, was it crazy of me to buy Legacy Soundwave to have him without the battle damage? I got the Siege for $24 at the end of 2019, and just got the Legacy for only $19, so I didn't pay full price for either, but I still feel a bit silly for having essentally bought the same thing twice.

I was considering picking him up too, even though I have siege.
He's just pretty nifty, and probably my favorite soundwave headsculpt of any mainline toy
also, this way you can make him into 2 lampposts for your autobots to drive under

I picked up the clean Legacy Soundwave and this was literally my one and only figure with the dreaded yellowing plastic right out the package.

Luckily it's only that joint the head attaches to that isn't visible unless you're looking at Soundwave from directly overhead.

Finally picked up Scourge and Override since they were getting clearances out at Walmart. Scourge is still a clumsy mold with a wrong paint job. Override has a nice bot mode but the alt mode is worse looking than the original. Both these molds probably would have benefitted from having a transformations a bit closer to the originals. Might go back for a second Override and try to mod one to look more masculine and the other to be more feminine so I can have both a nitro convoy and override on the shelf.

Think the plan might be to pick up a junker of the original and give the chick the old thinner arms and the dude the old more masculine head. Maybe I'll see if I can get away with thickening the thighs without killing the transformation.
