After I played with G2 Selects Megatron when I first got him, I put him back in the box and he's been in a dark room sealed since.

Opened him up to look during cleaning and wow, that is some hideous yellowing. All the grey that can turn brown turned hard. Literally every figure I got that has yellowing issues turned on me. FML.

The yellowing is caused by exposure to air. the Plastic is literally rotting because it was made wrong. this issue plagues the majority of WFC and Cyberverse.

Yeah this and Fourstar are some of the best literal bootlegs that are modified from actual moulds, Taiwan in the 80’s is real fun, also I love the other dinosaurs which are based off the dinobots, Chinese stuff has been a real hit or miss but straight up I would prefer one of these weird Luger guys vs the vietnam shittery of modern hasbro

Do you have any of the Earthrise seekers because the mold is the same. Just the hands have been altered so they can open, The paint job is slightly better on the general release Screamer. This one doesn't have paint on the tailfins.

The added accessories are fun. The only reason I didn't grab this one sooner is because I already have Earthrise Starscream. I'm debating on whether I should keep the earlier one or keep it as a backup.

The mold is basically an upsized version of the Classics seeker mold. It has some added articulation and deals with some parts better like the nose cone. The waist still can't turn, he still has those gaps on the side of the torso and his guns don't fire missiles this time but it's a decent mold.

Got some free time and I went ahead and removed the black stain on the legs. It actually looks pretty good and the torso battle damage seems to build character.

I am a bit surprised how easy it was with plastic model laquer thinner

Though I did get a copy of the DNA addon. The faces and the hands should be good, but I am not sure about the leg extenders. All the reviews make it look really lanky. Anyone actually tries it out and have opinion on the extensions?

Supposedly we're getting both Monstructor and Dino King

Dinoking will be a Generation Selects and Monstructor will be a target exclusive.

Dinoking will be colored half and half, with the dino modes resembling the shells and some of the inner bot pieces colored like the inner pretender bots. Combined mode likely will not fully match up with g1 Dinoking in terms of color because of the triceratops head colors.

Monstructor will be mostly organic looking, many of the monster bots are no longer biped but now walk on all fours. Birdbrain now resembles a dragon with molded folded up wing details on his body, almost like Kalameet in terms of his head shape. Slog will still carry Monstructor's head. His new beast head will pop off and form a shield so you can recreate the gold chest look of the original. He seems to resemble The Reek from SW.

I would advise against removing the cell the shading. Its what makes the figure more unique imo and would be way too bland without it. The reason the tank mode looks so bad on that version is due to the lack of paint. Netflix is easily the best tank mode. I would get rid of the regular siege.

It definitely has the best alt mode of any Cyclonus figure. I was tempted for that alone, but the robot mode just isn't it for me. It's not super flawed, but it sticks out for me. Same for Galvatron's Humpty Dumpty helmet. I really like Cyclonus and Galvatron, but it ironically makes me more picky.

The stumpy legs can be fixed on both with upgrades, Galvatron has some options to replace his head, theres the dna kit, the 3d printed one and the old renderform head for TR Galvatron can be adapted, all of them look better than the stock egghead and include multiple faceplates.

The other thread's the real one. I know I don't need to expalin this to you (because it's been explained numerous times and you know exactly what you're doing), but to those who don't know any better: Making a new thread as soon as the old one hits bump limit clutters the catalog - /toy/ is one of the slower boards on the site, and a thread can hang on for weeks after reaching its bump limit. Making new threads before the old one has been bumped off the board results in multiple half-used threads filling up the board and forcing other generals off, meaning it effects absolutely everyone on /toy/. This fuck-tard knows this and is doing this shit on purpose (as he has been for quite some time now) in an attempt to get Transformers in general banned from the board. He's stated that his ultimate goal is to destroy the concept of generals entirely.
Ignore his threads, since they exist only to both spam the board and stroke his over-inflated ego; report them as 'Spamming/Flooding' or 'Trolling Outside of /b/', and then stop posting to avoid bumping them; if you MUST post (and you shouldn't really have to - responding to him feeds him) - be sure to type 'sage' (without the quotes) in the Options field before posting.
Also note that this guy is the Retrospammer and the dude who made these disingenuous threads with the goal of pushing the REAL /tfg/ off the board (what are known as 'slide threads'): >>10232846, >>10236397, >>10236228, >>10232797, >>10211067, and >>10208662).

I think so. He' better than any of the CW combiners IMO, far less rickety than those proved to be.
The Stunticons are a bit of a mixed bag though. Motormaster and Dragstrip are great but Dead End is only half good, literally his top half is good and his bottom half is a tragedy. Wildrider is okay at best, essentially the CW Dead End mold with a few extra steps, and Breakdown is a lazy retool that sort of put a downer on the whole thing, being that he finished the team off.

The boat "cape" struts might be cracked, that plastic is getting old and brittle, and it gets strained a lot in transformation, so be weary of that.

I think mine also had the big battery backpack things strut have some cracks from just, being old.
So be careful when handling it. Other than that, its a really cool figure with a rare boat alt mode. Would love to get an updated version of it at some point, very sleek if you ignore the bulky backpack.

I got burned on the Dr. Wu clone weapons by not looking close enough at Pounce's guns. I was hoping they'd have gun handles for his robot mode, but no such luck. Worse yet, the Toyhax upgrades, which DID have two-handled blasters, are completely gone.

Would anyone in this thread be willing to specifically sell me the Toyhax versions? Or any gun he could hold AS a gun?

Barn was good condition. Family member that owned the house passed and we were forced to move to make way to the new owners (life estate deed). So in order to move out of the house as quickly as possible, we placed a massive amount of things boxed up in the barn while we got the new house and land set up. They got tired of waiting and burned it down. It was raining heavy, which you can see the after effects in the photos, and there was no power to the barn.

The new owners were never going to live in the house and have recently sold it to the person who farms on all the land around it. We were being slow so they burned it down. Fire chief even said Arson. Nothing we can do since we didn't live there any longer.
