It's a toss up considering it's really unlikely Windsweeper is going to have a spring-loaded function even though he is labeled as a "Triggercon". Hell Siege Spinter's leak was titled as a double target master but that never panned out. I'm guessing that's what anon meant by

Read literally the first reply in the thread, you moron. This was made by a troll, and removes the 'wait until 9 or 10' disclaimer, ensuring the catalog gets cluttered with half-used /tfg/s. it also links back to his previosu thread, which had a link where he set up a Ko-Fi account to try to get people to literally pay him to stop; the account was reported and subsequently deleted on Ko-Fi's end, but the fact remains that the shithead had the balls to try to extort money out of people. This is the same dude who keeps making all of those slide threads that are also cluttering the catalog - he's intentionally trying to get mods sick of seeing Transformers to the point where they'll ban them (it'll never happen, but it's still aa pain in the ass, especially when people are trying to hold a discussion that is now spread across 5+ different threads), and every time someone bumps his threads instead of letting them die and fall of the boards, you're adding fuel to the fire.

As for why I put the pastebins in, solely because the threads were getting unjustly nuked without them. so there's a 2024 animated TF film coming out, and many have speculated it's basically a cybertron based war story, possibly the lead up to the opening sequence in the bumblebee movie.
This would certainly explain the push for the studio series toys of those designs, if they'd be able to re-release them later.
But it's also interesting that the design team for RotB mainline is also the design team for Earthspark AND this upcoming animated movie.

Unfortunately, I have neither SS Rumble or any of the generations Soundwaves so I can't offer a personal solution. Unless you can somehow get Soundwave (or someone else if you can accept it) to make use of those accessories, I can't imagine anything else that isn't some form of "put it aside" (being used by someone else is kinda already close to that). It's just something I guess the cassette guys can't do too well, something being decent weapon storage. At least their accessories being able to be stored in/onto the bots they slot into would've seemed reasonable. The MP Soundwave can store the twins' guns in his feet so it's not something that hasn't been done

I only have siege soundwave, but here's what I got.

Pile drivers go on each end of the gray folding gun he has to make a large combat staff. You have to pull one of the discs off though, but that can store easily on the plug to one of his batteries on his back. One of rumbles guns can plug into his butt, which has a hole for... reasons.
the other gun I put under his neck in that compartment his head stores in. It's not 100% perfect but you can't tell unless you're looking straight down at him.

If Motormaster/Menasor didn't come with any blast effect parts then Optimus probably doesn't either. The barrel on Optimus Ion Cannon might be larger than 5mm so it's not blast compatible.

That's not all, the other reason is that Hasbro apparently showed IDW some characters that would get exclusive releases and for a number of them they even provided the toys appearance. Some plans changed between that wrecker comic and releases, but they fid show off:

-Legacy Knock Out
-Almost the entire Velocitron sub line
-Minerva
-Leadfoot

So Thunderclash felt like the oddguy out, the only Wrecker without a toy (the others recently had one, had upcoming figured or died). I'm guessing the plan fell through before the comic ended, since Axer's apppearance and death reference his Legacy Arcee retool being nixed early on in the design phase.

Keep your headcanon out of here. Ruination was never a name associated with the Turbomasters, let alone a combined form for them. It was the English name for Baldigus and a random name given to the toy-only Wreckers combiner retooled from Fall of Cybertron Bruticus.

If Hasbro wanted to use a name related to the Turbomasters for a hypothetical combiner of them, the best candidate would probably be Hyperdrive, who was an unproduced Turbomaster whose toy was supposed to be bigger than that of Thunder Clash. But even that's nothing more than a guess, 'cause Hasbro might always just pull something out of their collective butt for it.

It just seems very odd. If they wanted to do another Rattrap sized character, why this one over the many more iconic smaller characters from BW? If they wanted to start BW in Core then clearly they won't start with this. I mean, if that's really where they're going with this over something like Claw Jaw (who also featured on Neo), bat Optimus, croc Megatron, and other basic sized figures from the toyline (maybe they are doing show only, who knows, they seem to be trying to appeal to the various designers from Takara recently) then that's their choice.

The difference is that all those are considered important enough that sharing the name isn't an issue, this is more of a Barricade or Chase situation, the original character was such a nonentity that they pretty much lost their name. Also, those Scourge weren't released that close to each other (2020,2022, 2023).

Size class aren't tied to the Universes they're from. I don't think Hasbro is really going to force Cyberverse characters to be Deluxe only just because the Cyberverse toyline had the best versions be Deluxe only.

You do realize Windblade, Shadowstriker and Chromia's names are roughly around the same length as Starscream? In that case it would be more appropriate to label Starscream as CYB than Cyber because that would shorten the code but they didn't. So I believe CYBER and CYB is done to distinctly separate the two. After all Cybertron and Cyberverse both have Cyber on the names, it's the second half that's different.

Of course, the other possibility is that after a certain point in 2023, they just changed the naming mechanism.

Secondly that makes shit even more confusing, Prowl IIRC has the Animated Universe as part of the codename in the listings and he was a deluxe. Optimus Prime in Voyager class still retains that Animated Universe code name, no shortening and his name is considerably longer than Prowl's. I do not know the reason why Hasbro would want to shorten Cybertron or Cyberverse in the codenames but it is what they do and I assume it's because they reuse the word Cyber so many times that there needs to be a solid distinction. I just see changing the abbreviation of the same Universe for the different size class to be absolutely asinine.

They're real Hasbro dicksuckers because apparently despite having the toys very early and taking pics of them, they're not willing to share because it would damage the sales of the toys and thus Hasbro's bottom line so they have the 'responsibility' to not share and reveal until Hasbro announces it first. What's the fucking point? The toys they bought are inspected and deemed defective whether it was bad paint, missing parts or whatever so they're thrown out which is how they're easily smuggled out of the factory. So what they have is most likely going to be inferior to the one that comes out, by not sharing they've simply bought the toy just to get it first regardless of its quality and brag to others. They want to have the moral high ground yet are willing to go over the line just to get recognition of having seen the toy first before the general public.

As much as Chefatron is a fucking idiot and his stupid plastic test by tapping them with a fucking pencil I will commend him for not bothering to tease and just make a video reviewing the toy before it was even officially announced.

Oh I will make that big assumption alright because Generations, as far as the mainline goes like Legacy does not do special recolours or event specific ones. That all goes towards the capsule lines which is an entirely separate thing. The only recolours that a mainline Generation line would do would be to repaint a character into a different character like the numerous Seekers for example. You'll never see a Hot Rod and his Stealth Force repaint in the same line for example, the latter will go to whatever new capsule line they've made. And as far as the copyright stuff goes I'm pretty sure we're past behind that. Hasbro has been very smart in regards to copyrighted names and I cannot remember anyone who had Autobot or Decepticon as part of their names ever since Combiner Wars 8 years ago.

I was just saying that the fact that deluxes that come after him are labled "cyb" for cyberverse doesn't actually mean anything relating to what "cyber" means for the voyager starscream that comes before.

It could mean something different, it could mean the same thing, we won't know until we have more info.

Just like when "War for Cybertron" figures were leaked we didn't know WHICH WFC they were until more got leaked and it became obvious.

I'm saying we can safely assume cyb is cyberverse because windblade didn't exist during Cybertron
But we don't know if cyber is for Cybertron, or cyberverse, because it ONLY shows up, so far, on voyager starscream which is an earlier release than the cyb deluxes, so we don't know if they're abbreviated differently because of some difference or change unrelated to them being two different series.

fanshobby is not that bad , but compare to what commander armada accomplished, the only thing fh successed is base mode and all the gimmick.

Doubt anyone even likes that to be honest. I know I don't, the Exhaust pipe gun is puny and best left on the arms. The Mini-Con pegs not being there is a bummer though. No backwards compatibility and that means I would have to buy or make shitloads of Mini-Con peg adaptors. I've got a lot of Mini-Cons with good utility that would be nice to slap on to him. I'll just settle for Mechtech weapons in the meanwhile.

important question, which female transformers actually have hips and ass? I'm thinking maybe legends arcee, and MP arcee and spiderboobs. Kingdom spider seems to have much more slender hips.

I was looking at moonracer and all her recolors and it dawned me that Hasbro kind of hates hips and butt. Very straight hips. Things were even worse on the previous all female combiner but that was all dude repaints.
