>>10305481>>10305526kino, I've got loads of community type markets near me with boomers and sellers that work at or plunder the local second hand stores. People here shit on the practise but Ive recently made an absolute murderous killing buying street sharks second hand and reselling extras to US ebay customers. Even individual accessories. Cleaning down old toys and doing basic deyellowing makes a huge difference for resale, collectors dont seem keen to do it themselves. I make a habit though if someone is selling ridiculously below market value Ill offer above asking price and if they want, help value some of their other items. Ive secured some amazing bundles making friends with regular sellers and covered a fair amount of my collection with resales.
The best items for flipping are always the lines you're most familiar with. Im usually looking to buy bundles of items in lines I also collect so im trading up and consolidating incomplete items as I sell. It also help to be already established in the local online community markets for specific lines so you can get some idea of supply/demand/marketprice outside of eBay sold listings. Dust and grime is also your friend, any time the paint is intact and just dirty thats free bonus coins for you with minimal effort. I don't believe in doing paint touchups though, I personally dislike them.
My primary targets are: Old turtles, Beastwars Transformers/G1s, old Actionman/GI Joes, Mighty Max, Street Sharks, Extreme Dinos, strange bootlegs, Old power rangers, Dino Riders, Dino Zone, MtG.
