"Wrong. Star Wars saved Lego. If it were Bonkles as you say... then why could it not save itself?"

The bonklet was visibly shaken and dropped his Axalara T9 and binder full of hand-drawn Toa porn. He fled the thread crying those cheeky croc-flavored tears. The same tears bonklets cried when TLG supported their System fans and made a System Bonkle set. There is no doubt that at this point our bonklet wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a constraction hack. He wished so much he could strangle himself to death with Meltdown's whip due to the shame but the lime piece had already crumbled into dust!

The /lg/ anons applauded and became SystemStarWarschads sworn to keep buying all the X-Wing remakes that day and accepted Lego Sheev Palpatine as their rightful emperor. A new series of grey box set leaks flew into the thread and spammed fuzzy images and caused many tears to be shed. From what's been leaked, the only new mini-figures we are getting this year are Morbius (stuck in a box set with Miles Morales), movie Adam Warlock (in a massive box set with the Guardians of the Galaxy), and that's it. Probably. Ninjago blatantly stole the fire vs. ice theme for season 11. Although I think Ninjago handled it better, I love the twist of Zane being the ice emperor. And similar to Chima, spawned two furry waifus, Aspheera and Akita.

Hispanics love having their culture in stuff (see: Speedy Gonzales, the desert world in Mario Odyssey, etc.) so that wouldn't be a problem. The Maori didn't even get butthurt over the Bionicle thing either, they just asked Lego to use Maori words that didn't have religious significance. Plus nobody had a problem with the Aztec theming in Bionicle G2, or the islander-themed wave of Ninjago a short while ago. >>10415550 is the more likely outcome, if anything.

Personally I'd love an Aztec/Mayan theme, or even some sort of "cultures of the world" theme with sets based on, well, cultures of the world. Kind of like what they were doing with the Houses of the World, except instead of a tiny GWP with a ridiculously high price threshold, actual sets you can buy in stores.

I was sorting threw stuff on the attic because family wants to do a general cleaning of everything. The box with all the bricks has been in the attic for more than 13 years since the last time I played with it. When I saw it so many memories came back so I had the urge to rebuild stuff again. Unfortunately so many pieces have been lost: heads, helmets, weaponry, capes, rare pieces, etc. My brother got the 6975 Alien Avanger in the 90s and he tried his best to keep it intact but once he grew out of it, I "inherited" it. Over time the pieces got lost and now I can't rebuild it and it bothers me. I wish I wasn't such a stupid kid. Fuck
