Does exposing Lego to cold temperature damage it?
Many years ago some sets got left out in the yard over the winter. Some of the pieces (technic joints) cracked.
Is this due to cold, or exposure to snow/dirt/etc, or both? If sets/parts are left in a protected area but exposed to cold (left in storage containers in an unheated garage in an area with cold winters), is that safe or will it make the parts brittle/crack?
