I personally think there have been too much of a problem with lego sets becoming unaffordable because of high piece count.
I mean look

2006, 194 pieces for $16 dollar (23-24 today)
-A-wing 75175
2017, 345 pieces for $40 dollar (49 today)
Yes, the newer one is more on model, but with this price its less viable as a playset, a lot less kids gonna ever get it and play with it.
I don't think every fighter, every build needs to be an UCS set.
Mando's fighter or even the Pirate Snubfighter each could've been $20-$30 dollar sets instead of the $35-$50 dollar sets they are if they just would've focused on keeping the part number a bit lower.
