Jakks has a few new things hitting Targets now. Mostly multipacks and small movie playsets.

Super Mario Movie wave 2 is hitting in full and appears to be shipping to Target in full cases of each character.

And shout out to Mr. Martinet for retiring as the voice of Mario after all these years.

God bless. Mario's had so many voices over the years I didn't have a hard time adapting to Pratt, but with Wario and Waluigi it's gonna be a whole other ball game.

The demand for them was extremely high, not only from regular neckbeards but amiibo collectors in general and those that played XB2.

they appeared to have been in stock at best buy yesterday but now it looks like you're probably boned until they to a reprint.

Stock still seems to be a weird issue in general with amiibo; Targets still have stock of Samus/EMMI and the Minecraft ones. So its possible some stock didn't get to the stores and/or they're holding it for the holidays. Your best bet is to stalk Wario64 or Amiibo Alerts on twitter to see when they pop up again.

Amiibos are the most useless remainders of toys-to-life. They serve no practical/essential purpose nor do they even have a game that requires them in the first place. They only exist the same way a Fukno Pop does: Because you're a fan of ___ and you need merch of it. This is why I miss Skylanders so much, I even play Lego Dimensions occassionally.
