Oxford Valley Mall in Pennsylvania has a 2nd-hand Lego store. They sell individual minifigs and pieces of all kinds. no shipping needed! (but to be fair there's a $3 toll road to get there, I'm the shipping cost! lol)

There used to be a store in Nyack, NY but I haven't been there in many years so IDK

And Lego itself has a pick-a-piece thing right on the shop website, you can pick individual things there but I'm not sure how "old" they'd get (you might be surprised)

Though I do wish j2g had retired years ago. I found him randomly many years ago and can't bring myself to hate him because one of his videos introduced me to the Star Wars Advent Calander. My brother had a son around that time and his own interest in Lego had been reignited and did the same to me. He was a fan of Star Wars Lego as well. He didn't buy everything though, just a few sets that peaked his interest. So when I saw j2g bring up a Star Wars Advent Calander right around the same time my family had agreed we were all old enough that the gift exchange wasn't really needed, I saw a unique opportunity. My brother likes hosing holiday events so at Thanksgiving I surprised him with the Advent Calander. He had no idea it existed either. All I asked in return was that he sent a pic every day of what he got. I'm a truck driver so any messages from family mean a lot out of the road. Instead he sent a video every day of him and his wife opening each day. His son was still a toddler and too young to participate. Since then, it has been a tradition that I give them the Calander and they share what they get. In more recent years he hasn't had the time to do videos so it's just pics, but it's still fun. Plus a few years after that my best friend wanted in on the fun and surprised me with a City Calander. I send him pics as well. I personally love the cleverness of the micro builds in the Calanders.

Ebay would probably be easiest but prices are retarded.
Facebook marketplace would have the best price if you buy the right bulk lots and sell off the rest, but would take tons of work.
Bricklink would be the best balance, fair market price but may have to split stuff over multiple stores.

Jane needs to make his city bigger if anything. He’s got the zoning of an American city. Need more space for that kind of thing. And it’s not all skyscrapers (urban) so he doesn’t get the benefit of density to make up for lack of space. Just from skimming through that one video someone posted here a while ago, it seems like he’s got too many things he wants to make. Maybe if he doubled the size he could do it.

That must be why he looks like he wants to kill himself lol. Bay Area is expensive as fuck, like any city, and to have space for legos is ALOT of extra money. It’s one thing to have a house or Apt. but a house that’s big enough to facilitate a Lego city is another thing. These aren't hard to remove, you just need to use a special technique. When I was a kid I simply used a flat head screwdriver to wedge it out. However the correct way is to use two axel pieces.

Looks excellent. The architecture is simple enough to let the neoclassical style speak for itself. The big pillars look good, and the capitals aren't overblown trash. The nanofigs are also cool. I hope the interior is good and has a big mezzanine for the brachio skeleton to stand inside.

I just spent $37 shipped on this mini Death Star 2 that was a GWP a while back. I really wanted this, but no real Star Wars sets. Since Obi-Wan's hut, I've been pretty content on Lego SW so I missed purchasing a thing to get this.

Was I a big dumb fuck buying this or will be happy? I really love micro dioramas and the like. I bought the Tatooine Homestead for $30 last year and was quite happy, it looks great on my desk. I hope I enjoy this set just as much

That first showed up in Harry Potter sets on Hermione minifigs in 2018. It was used in the Stranger Things set the following year and then a year after that was recoloured into bright light yellow for the Pajama Girl is series 20.

Only Woody and the Navi get the long legs anon. The Hulk and Thanos are ~8 feet high, and are normal mini-figures. As soon as they hit 10 feet or so they're bigfigs because they're not lanky ass blue people. In the lego universe, these terran dudes are correctly scaled space marines. Space marines only get to be super duper special snowflakes in their own universe.

LEGO is great for ignoring primaris garbage. The only units in game who should get bigfigs instead of mini-figs are probably primarchs (brick built) or ork warbosses (bigfigs).

Minerfag here, things have been tough, not got a lot of progress due to a few reasons but soon will hopefully get a good source of money at least, any advice for what to get since I got a pretty good set (the 3-in-one with the clear blue head robot guy), I still have some plans on what to get for individual minifigs or components, but energy been running low a bit due to a movie marathon, just wanted to let everybody know I am still alive, and a new pic of the one miner’s design for proof too

Nice finds. They all seem to fit nicely together. I have found that using a sharp box cutter like blade sometimes is better for trimming off any bent plastic that ruins the fit. The sharp blade leaves a shiny more Lego like appearance without having to polish. Then sometimes it’s best to just embrace the scars.

I believe wholeheartedly that the biggest mistake Lego ever made, worse than discontinuing the classic evergreen themes, worse than putting literal shit in every set, worse than the poor quality of plastic, worse than the tranny pandering... is adding the stupid white glare to the minifig eyes. I think the bigger problem with minfig faces is not as much the glare as it is how they are given a wrong kind of realism. This is mostly through wrinkles or constrains in the facial expressions.
Notice how row many smiling faces like row 3 collumn 1 or the one to the botton right follow "realistic" proportions (the edges of the mputh don't extend beyond the eyes). As a result you have a kind of small deformed mouth rather than a cartoonish one. The blue sweatband girl and the smirking guy above her manage to go beyond those constraints and look more relaxed, less forced.
face prints from around 2008, especially the Jester from castle, don't have this problem as they are more unhinged. And classic faces neither cause of simpler expressions.

it's a theme that sells really well, so probably not. That being said, they could easily stuff dinosaurs into their own original theme and it'd sell just as well.

Many of my sets didn't even stay together because I would used them to build my own things, including my 2008 gunship.

Had this one sick open cabin anti air vehicle I made using the weapon and treads from the Mars Mission Reaper. That one stayed together. And like i said, I have a display. With what little i did have, I put together a pseudo background. So take your weird prejudices somewhere else loser.

More projection. I legit moved on with my life and left my entire collection behind. just bought what few things I wanted when I had a little extra cash. Why does it seem like lego is trying really hard to change their target demographic away from their main userbase? I mainly mean the weird artsy photos of hipster dorks staring at a lego set in the middle of a super upscale modernist apartment like its the most mindboggling thing they've ever seen.
