How long do I have to wait for Mario minifigs? I do like the Bowser car, will get it since I love Super Mario 3D World but I wish it had a Mario minifig in it.

That's the dream, I've moved onto Sonic. I don't think they're coming anytime soon, Nintendo is probably worried about copyright infringement because fans can put Mario heads onto Star Wars bodies, for example. Therefore we get a Mario figure that is unable to be taken apart.

I'm not into Star Wars at all but I usually have a pretty good grasp on the sets, I have a few of the 4 digit SW from the year prior. I think there were a lot of the sequel sets at this time but I legit see this one like a render (not counting that it's not the actual box art).

Those Monkie Kid white robes have such bad printing for the green and orange colors that are supposed to connect between the torso and legs. I made a custom fig for a wizard using one of them and ended up putting a utility belt over the gap in printing, looks better imo.

I think they are teenagers, but the theme was rebooted in 2018 and ended in 2022, so they're younger than that.
But the real question is when does the 2023 reboot take place, Mia is old enough to have a high school daughter. Does Lego friends take place in the near future? How far in the future? Mia seems about middle age. Or did Mia get pregnant as a teen and she's about 30?

It was a soft reboot really, they made them more diverse but they are still the same characters. Its like lets say one day you woke up a your skin was black, you will still be you and only thing that changed was your skin color.

Looks like Mia is raising her daughter all by herself after the husband was killed in an accident that also took the daughter's arm.

It used to be the only set with a zombie villager, but that's not the case anymore, so it's the only set with the cleric villager, which costs $40 or $50 nowadays, which is insane. It might be the 1x12 medium nougat bricks, but really you can replace them with anything else.
If anything, it's mostly nostalgia. imo, you can easily part it out.
