If you ever want to put them back in the bubble just soften the original glue with acetone and gently open it up. Drip the solvent on from the back and let it soak through.
Acetone is volatile enough that it will evaporate away before it harms the card, just watch out with the plastic bubble, acetone will eat it if you leave it on too long.

Later, if you change your mind just paint a little glue on the undamaged card & bubble and seal it back up.

God I fucking hate nips so much. Just received my first TLV (the freshly released mark ii), and from the start I wanted to wheelswap it. I was expecting it to be held together by screws like literally every other similar model, but no, those fucking nipshits just had to use rivets as if it's hot wheels or some shit. Had to physically destroy two wheels to get the axles out, while scratching those black sideskirts in the process (the paint there for some reason is very easily removed). Also, the fact that you have to glue some bits to TLV's yourself is fucking retarded. What is this, a modelkit? I already paid you fuckers for your overpriced toycar, why is it not fully assembled from the factory dammit? God, I hate the Japanese and their retarded quirkiness so much

Black RPF1s are the best-looking wheels on the JZX100, fuck you. They are also produced in sizes that perfectly fit the car irl. The wheels I bought also have perfectly round elastic rubber instead of the deformed mishmash that tlvs have from the factory.

Usually he buys the cars that will go for a lot on eBay (JDM, fnf, blvd, etc.). I came in to work yesterday and the new Blvd set was on the pegs, but all the Silvia’s and porsches were missing. I’ve seen him leave with the top part of his shopping cart stacked with shit he’s going to resell and he just comes back and does it again the next day.

ABSOLUTELY all rlc and premium hot wheels are tarted up mainlines. Whether they are "upgraded" mainlines or exclusive castings, they all have the same level of detail and appalingly bad quality control. the only difference is that premiums and rlc have more decals slapped on them. if you buy any hot wheels for detail you are retarded, literally every other diecast brand beats hot wheels in terms of detail in 2023 (save for some other straight up toycar brands like tomica)

it's not a Lada, it's a GAZ-24 Volga. The wheels are Cragar Soft 8 steelies, I chose them because I wanted that classic muscle car look and overall steelies look great on that car.

Jadas are cheap and easy to buy (in the USA anyway) but the quality is no great. They're mostly fine but are pretty much "toy" quality. Greenlight and old Johnny Lightnings are better but more expensive.

I know Hasegawa and Zvezda make kits for aircraft in that scale and Dragon both have kits and ready made subjects. There are also quite a few scenery sets for buildings and trees, so I am just missing cars, though

I plan on doing rural Germany during the late Weimar Republic, so I know I need some Zvezda 1:200 Ju-52 kits (though importing them will be a pain).

I would prefer diecast cars, just because of how small the scale is.

Maisto used to make quite pleasant 1/64 castings. I think I still have a few of their old ones. One of them was a Volvo 740 or the like. Their cars even had "suspensions" with the axle being held in by a somewhat flexible base as found on the cheapest dollar store die cast like Yatming.

Yeah, I was just poking around Wal Mart yesterday and was surprised to see the old Speed Racer castings still getting released. I was a huge fan of the anime back in the '90s, and I'm pretty sure I had the whole JL set. They were pretty neat and fairly unique. JL always did a good job portraying animated cars, they used materials and colors that made them look like painted animation cels. Their Simpsons stuff is good, too.

My favorite Mach 5 is actually this one from the Japan-only "Charawheels" line by Hot Wheels. The JL one is fine, but this has much better proportions and more accurate wheels. I'm a big fan of JL's F1 Mach 5 though. I love quirky stuff like this.

It's an old Deagostini 1:43 model from a local series, but there are also some releases of it from IST. Those are tiny bit more detailed, but it's the same casting
