What is the story behind this image? Is it fake? Why is this straxus? It’s not based on any pre-existing design of him. The only thing that remotely has any connection to him on this guy is the pick axe. For anything I am getting geewunnified dotm megatron vibes from this guy. The raggedy hood, the chest design, the chains, the mishmash patchwork, the single piercing eye. It all screams bayverse megatron.

I've got one of those knockoff colour checker palettes, never been able to work out a program that can make use of it though.

Yeah, that's always how their seasonal sale works. Double checking my orders from last year's holiday sale and the big surprise is that the savings actually went up: then it was 20%/25% for Premium members, compared to the current 25%/35%. So, I missed out on getting Weaponizers back when they were out because I was more into MP. Now, some Legacy figures actually feel naked without some sort of accessories. Namely Armada Megatron, which is a figure I've been trying to make worthy of the Leader Class pricepoint by uhhh...spending money to make him 3D printed parts and painting the naked nylon pieces.

I guess what I'm asking is, what weaponizer figure from the whole WFC series was worth it the most? I see Sixgun and Brunt are just a little bit more to pickup new than they were on release in some places. I know there are some of these guys that are like 50-60 bucks now and I'm not interested in paying that desu.

Any suggestions?

Last night I had a dream that I was in a Toys R Us and the aisle with Transformers was absolutely stacked. I was looking through the shelves and found that they were selling an entire line of teeny tiny figures that were like the Optimus that comes with the Ark, all mad eto fit into the slots in the Ark's bridge. They were chsrging $5.99 for these, and I thought it was totally unreal.

Would not recommend Cog outside of red cog but that's ONLY because it's a big accessory pack, cog himself is not a good figure a not a good weaponizer

Definitely get sixgun and slammer, fasttrack I think is also pretty good

Paleotrex is also the best fossilizer for making weapons imo, the aesthetics will kinda clash no matter what but he has multiple repaints to choose from

Ended up only picking up Sixgun since he looks like you get more value. Wish I'd gotten him back when he was probably like 10 bucks. Still debating cancelling my order as I got him for like 40$ total and I'd probably rather just get the Shattered Glass 2 pack with Rodimus and Sideswipe for a little more. I keep bouncing back and forth.

Sixgun definitely looks the coolest out of all of them so far with Brunt being 2nd to me so that's why I ended up choosing him.

No, this is the result of hasbro using incredibly subpar materials and still charging double what they are worth, and with no one sueing them for it, they'll do it again.

They turn with air. Not Sunlight exposure. Cyberverse Adventures Arcee yellows on the shelves in stores. Pretty much at least 3-5 figures in every line from the past 5 years have had this issue, but hasbro says "hurrrrrr we dont know durrrrrrr." when they know exactly what they are doing.

As a figure robot mode has awkward proportions and doesn't pose well, his "alt mode", if you can even call it that much, is a cybertronian nothingburger with the whole front half held on by a single tab. I've also found him to have the worst tolerances of any weaponizer when it comes to falling to bits.

As a weaponizer he just sucks. None of his parts convincingly look like weapons except the arms if you ignore the giant fists, but worst of all NONE of them can be mounted in convenient ways. The pegs on his arms are too far forward to be held normally by 90% of figures. His "shield" bodyblock has a floppy hinged connection and juts out way too far. His legs are either giant featureless blocks or the most half-assed missile racks with a random peg sticking out that can't mount in many places because of his goddamn feet getting in the way.

I got Rog for 12 bucks and was still thoroughly disappointed, at least his accessories let me give Copy Convoy a triple barrel gun that wasn't a dinky piece of shit

Especially for their first venture into the wonderful world of fixing their figures. I know when I first tried to fix a figure I absolutely fucked it almost beyond repair to the point I had to strip the paint off the entire part I was working on and figure out how to cleanly redo what was there. Spent more money on supplies than I did for the figure.

Honestly I was using the wrong screwdriver for a lot of them and using the wrong amount of force. It's insane how sensitive some of these screws are. Some that appear the same size, work better with a different screwdriver that you didn't even think of. I had to use like 3 different ones to take apart Armada Megatron.

I ended up getting MOST of TM2 Megatron's in but had to break down and use a Dremel to turn one of the long ones in the neck/shoulder area into a flathead screw. It works a lot better now. I just wish there were easy ways of finding replacement screws.

For me it's Female Transformers and White Prime Magni.

Female Transformers: Growing up in the 80’s with my life and being a trans girl? Well Transformers was a show about beings that could be whatever they choose to be!

Add a dose of a troubled childhood it also gave me a dad figure in Prime (I was 5, give me a break please lol).

Magnus: I always adore Found Family concepts and with the weirdness around Prime and Magnus it was perfect, add into it my own since of self loathing and being overly self critical, so Magnus being a Prime/Convoy inside isn’t enough, he needed to be more…he needed to be Magnus to be himself.

So over the years I’ve focused on those two aspects.

Haha, the only thing I actually ended up replacing was actually just one face, because I also did not like the idea of it floating there, and the hand to give it a pointer finger. Everything else is still in the box. Chest thing seemed flimsy and the color for the segments was just off enough for me not to want to use it. I was trying to think of a good 3D print at the time that I could stick behind the face to keep it from moving, but I conceded that the orange hat thing was good to keep as a callback to the original figure.

Good to know. Guess I'll just stick with Sixgun for now in terms of Weaponizers. I almost also bit the bullet buying Rung (Battlemaster) but I cannot justify that one either.

Was on a trip and stopped by a comic store I saw online and ended up with one hell of a grail haul after seeing their transformers selection. With their sale grand total was under $400 for the lot which I was super thrilled about.

All complete aside from Car Robots Buildmaster missing Build Boy's and Build Cyclone's weapons, but I'm more elated to have a complete Build Team than I am upset over a few minor missing parts.

I bought an Energon Sharkticon recently for a good price, then ended up paying double what I paid for his missiles and a whole second figure because my first one was missing a gun cap I didn't notice.

Or when I needed to buy parts to complete my G1 Longtooth, I ended up having to buy 3 of them to actually get all the parts I needed when I could have just bought one complete one for more upfront.

Never buy incomplete. It's always a worse deal.

When I bought my Legends Slipstream it was missing one missile, and there was another listing for just the missiles for something like $5. Doesn't help that I was kinda desperate since BNIB Slipstreams cost "fuck off" money
Still, this is what's stopping me from getting an oldschool BW Airazor, most listings are incomplete and sourcing missing parts seems to be difficult to arrange at the same time.

Given the quality of the other Netflix series I don't think there was ever a chance of the show being good even if it actually had a really cool original concept and wasn't just a rehash of a bunch of preexisting stories. And FrankenStraxus is just kinda lame desu. Like why is his head floating in his belly connected to a camera-obelisk or some shit instead of just putting the head where the head is supposed to be, it's not like its any less exposed like that. The problem lies with F.J Desanto really. He was there from the beginning with the Machinima Prime Wars trilogy. Safe to say he's a pretty shit showrunner and Hasbro should've kicked him out and go find another more better showrunner. I know that's why I said I get the visual reference, but the head in a jar thing doesn't exactly work here because he actually has a body he could be plonked on top of, but whoever built his new body just decided to put him in the belly for some reason. I'd understand if there was armor plates or something covering it but it's just a glass panel. Guess they were feeling quirky that day. There's many ways they could have explained it. Maybe the head's not compatible on the patchwork body. Maybe the head itself is too damaged beyond the brain to be used normally. Obviously the fact that he's relying on a junk body implies he doesn't have the means for a proper repair job.
Of course, this being a planned sequel to the netflix show, I wouldn't expect it to be good, it's just not a bad concept in theory.

I own all the BW Masterpieces, the kingdom/legacy versions of Primal, Dinobot, Waspinator, Airazor, Backarachnia, Tarantulas and Inferno and also ther OG toys other than Blackarachnia, but nonethless ordered the Dinobot VS Tarantulas pack because I really want that nicely painted Dinobot and Tarantulas was my first BW toy so it doesn't bother me having another one.

Nonetheless, that's the only pack I'm going to buy. I don't like the molds of the ones I didn't buy already and the Rhinox/Scorponok pack is an absolute joke because it's the worst two toys in a single package.

It's how it's supposed to be. The original gun was a chunk of his beast mode head, so it was big already, but the show enlarged it even more when they turned it into a flamethrower.
It's one of the (many) reasons people keep shitting on the new Inferno - he should have had that as his gun from the start (and his thruster should have stayed on his ass where it belongs). The funny thing? His leaked concept art for Legacy shows he was actually planned to have that gun at first. What the hell happened between translating the artwork into a physical toy is anyone's guess, but most of the issues with the final product seem to have manifested around that time.

Except it literally does have an issue with the whole sculpt. The only thing it got right was the head. Every single aspect of the rest of his body is just flat-out wrong in both modes. Wrong hands, chest pattern completely missing, ant legs everywhere, wrong shoulders, and so on. How the fuck do you look at that toy, look at the show model, and go 'yep, everything looks fine here' when he literally looks like someone slapped his head on a totally unrelated characte's body?

Have Armada Optimus be the protag and gets sent to the G1 universe after his self-imposed 'exile' at the end of Armada/Micron Legends where he has to help the Autobots of the Victory-Zone era fend off against the invading evil Autobots from the SG universe. And I agree with the other poster about the anti-yellowing Tigatron. I suspect maybe if he does have the problem, it would be years before you notice instead of when you open the package. I think they fixed their problem. I'd like them to apologize to my greenish-only-on-the-nylon-pieces Jhiaxus figure that had loose as fuck joints, but it's whatever. He still looks cool even with a few bits of crusty fucking super-glue joints.

Terrorsaur is indeed colored incorrectly. It's annoying that no one can get this dude right. Not even Metagate. Only ones I think I would 100% buy besides Dinobot/Tarantulas are Primal/Megs and Cheetor/Waspinator.

I just hope they come out with all of S1 as Masterpiece before I fucking die.

Air King looks amazing to me. but of course that's MP style/scale. doesn't help us here.

I think primal/megs is the other most logical one to get, since their release versions are SO off on colors it's not funny. and cheetor if you got suckered into the powder-blue one.

it's a good idea, but by layering thin layers of acrylic paint, you CAN get around it. you'll want to spray a clearcoat at the end to protect it though, nothing's going to adhere it strongly enough to resist scratches. especially if you're a crazy person like me and try to paint pieces that go inside joints

not a bad time to use a silver chrome paint marker actually. just keep some alcohol nearby if you make a mistake, wipe it thoroughly, let it dry, then start over

oh yeah there's plenty of brushable primers. obviously it's never going to be as flawlessly smooth as airbrushing, but they do have a modicum of surfactancy, from what I've seen on zoids forums. it's doable. primer is basically just extra fancy neutrally-colored paint.

Hmm, don't think so. The knees are made of this same silver Nylon used throughout on the hips, biceps and other joints. The only soft rubber parts are the armblades below in pic. Maybe they are talking the hinge behind the knee, it slides outward for transformation but I don't see it breaking either.

The BH's knees seem to be a different color let me check.

BH Ratchet's knees are also Nylon, but orange and seem be gangmolded with its new weapon parts instead. Seems like a weird thing to do so maybe there was indeed some issue with the og's knee parts.

Also the transformation with those big clear parts still sucks, you need to be careful you're flexing the silver nylon hinges they are on, not the clear parts themselves.

Not gonna lie, you're not entirely wrong, but they DO have that upgrade kit. And I'm almost 100% positive they're going to have Drillbit's mold brother with the new Armada Galvatron repaint. It just sucks they're making the minicons probably come with the garbage repaints. I wish I knew if they were planning on releasing a pack of them or not because that would change my mind about a lot of purchases.

I feel like Metroplex just has a really cool silhouette. They also don't have that feature where the weapon opens up and looks cool. I understand leaving the minicon out kinda, but the whole gun thing? Why?

My only issue with Legacy Inferno is that his legs get in his fucking way so bad. Everything else about the figure is excusable, even the gun thing and maybe a better way to store the one the gave him. I feel like they could have tweaked the OG Inferno and gave us a near-perfect figure.

You can *kind of* configure his legs right now to look similar to the show, but the ones on his arms make it impossible to do that many poses with him.

I've been trying to come up with some designs to maybe resin print an MP for myself down the road since HasTak will take the next 20 years to come out with the rest of the Season 1 characters or just forget about the Predacons side altogether by the time I die.

'Ant' mode isn't an ant. It's a honey bee with its wings pulled off - entirely different shape from an ant and entirely different from the mutant monster one we see in the cartoon. No, no it does not. You must be blind if you can't see how horribly off the proportions are - ants are long and spindly with elongated midsections, small abdomens, big heads and large antenna to assist with seeing in dark tunnels; the old Inferno got it right, but the new one is shaped like a bee - bigger abdomen, more rounded and compact torso, really tiny (for an ant) head and very small antenna.

The proportions are what make it 'ant shaped' to begin with. While both the original Inferno and Transmetal Scavenger weren't 100% perfect either, they still came much, much closer to accurate than the new one.

Apples and oranges, dude. You can fudge details and proportions with vehicles and inanimate objects; you can't really do that with something that's intended to be based on a real-world animal, though, because the proportions they evolved with are part of how they're classified. There's a reason why all of Optimus Primal's toys have his legs fold up in some way, for example - you can't just make a human, cover it in fur, and claim it's a gorilla because gorillas evolved with longer arms and shorter legs than a human. The wrong proportions would have made Primal into a Bigfoot instead of a gorilla - just like the wrong proportions have made Inferno into something that most definitely isn't 'ant shaped'.
I'm not sure how many different levels of cope you're on at this point that you keep trying to defend this design, but it's time to let go - you are literally the only person here who thinks the pile of shit they churned out is passable in any sense.

Every problem of legacy Inferno is due to a single thing: wanting thin ant legs. The robot arms now need somewhere to go, so they store where the robot head was in the original. And now the robot head needs to be stored inside the ant head, so say goodbye to his weapon and an accurate robot chest. Same with the robot legs inside the abdomen, no space for the thruster. And now all six ant legs are in the way in robot mode instead of just two. They had to change absolutely everything for an ant mode that isn't even good.

The original toy transformation scheme should have been left unchanged, fuck four of the ant mode legs being fat, I don't care. This design only needed slightly proportion adjustments, more paint and a show accurate robot head and crotch.

A lot of people hated the hybrid approach for Shadowstriker but I actually think it's a bit more interesting than doing another Datsun-style carbot(helps that idgaf about Cyberverse), and I like the trenchcoat look with the doors. Car mode sucks though

no I think it was less 'make ant legs thin' and more 'make him stand up as an ant' because most bugformers with articulated limbs can only squat on the ground. the joints just don't hold them up in that position.
but I still think the biggest issue is the shape of the ant legs. they are one cut-and-glue 3d printing job away from being acceptable.

of course the ideal would be for the robot mode limbs to UNFOLD but that would be complex.. but it would make really nice long thin ant legs. I did a design once but it's hard to keep it simple

and the original toy worked hard to try to justify those 'ant limbs' and they at least had the right shape. they even gave the knees spikes so that they would match the spikes formed by the robot mode hands. they were trying to make this believable. it is a little odd that they chose an ant with large compound eyes, instead of sticking with the small-eyed subterranean standard ant that is obviously being homaged because his name's Inferno, you're meant to think fire ant. suggesting their computers have full knowledge of earth animal names
but still, there are ants like that. they might have just had limited reference material.

They could've done the Beast machines Blackarachnia method and made two sets of ant legs fuse to become his robot legs while making his arms a little thinner. Really, there's a number of ways they could've handled it that would have looked decent enough - but naturally, they went with the worst possible way that ended up forcing the entire thing to be reworked to fit around the new limb locations, compromising both modes.

the thing about that is, if you have to separate ant legs out, the logical group is the FRONT four match, while the rear two are the more unique ones (not to the extent of a grasshopper or anything, but)

yeah I acknowledge the flaws but still like her. and it probably definitely stings more getting a weird mashup style if you were looking forward to a proper figure of the Cyberverse design so I understand the hate. the weird shoulders are something I've just gotten used to ever since potp Battleslash, I think for me I tend to prefer toys with some janky elements over a figure that does everything just "fine".

I don't think this mold will ever be unthroned as my favorite Hot Rod/Rodimus. Like yeah the articulation is pretty crap and the shoulders and hips are objectively shit, and his gun sucks and his hands aren't even 5mm, but he just looks good to me from every angle in both modes. He's a product of a different time in all the best ways possible. His plastic is solid and chunky and the vac metal is gorgeous.

Also I just realized that he has a hip swivel that is rendered completely useless by the windshield kibble on his back. What a time to be alive.

Those are pretty nicely designed all things considered. an old-ass Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car is like a nicely proportioned revolver. yeah a bunch of shit is exposed, but it looks nice. and actually the way those cars were shaped... remind me very much of modern semi-auto handguns. or submarines. they were just pickles on wheels, yknow? Nice! I nabbed up all the Toxitron releases, and other than G2 Grimlock ('Greylock', as I've renamed him), that guy is my favorite deco of the bunch. That teal really pops against that yellow (the same reason I love Greylock) especially the way it transitions via gradient along his legs/alt mode rear, and those sunset decals really give him some character and an almost vaporwave-esque feel. Definitely the best deco of the bunch.

Reorganized my collection, I put the general bots on the top, followed by the Megatron/Movie shelf bel9w, follosed by a very very lonely Optimus shelf , which may very well just become my Trucks shelf once I get more movie figures that arent Trucks. Poor Laser Prime stands alone with the tiny spychanger prime, eagerly awaiting his Volvo brother. I'm hoping that order gets here by Tuesday at least. Good times, I like putting on a movie or long podcast to have something to listen to while I work for a couple hours. Last sort was good, it's nice to know where everything is and have it all organized. It's easier when all you have is a shelf, keeping 4k+ toys organized is more of a challenge.

I've been that way for a while too, I popped Star Wars Battlefront in my PS2 the other day and have been going back to it off and on during my downtime. Organizing/cleaning is more satisfying though, only when that shit is out of the way to an acceptable level do I feel like sitting down to a game.
On the plus side it's never been easier to play older games for nothing, if I didn't own a copy of Battlefront it'd be just as easy to snag an ISO and plug in my PS2/USB adapter dongle. It's a good thing.

I agree I did like that part for sure. I get it though there are only so many ways you can do a dino transformation. I like Dilophocon, but thankfully I was more into it for Nedrybot. Great GREAT alt mode (altmode fag here) and goofy fat robot mode with fun accessories.

oh also, as gay as all this hippie contradictory eco shit is, I like the paper twist ties. Way easier to deal with than metal-core plastic-coated bendy ones, or neca and super7's irritating rubber bands with like zero space to snip them without scratching the figure.

also they make good figure-scale prop ropes, something which is hard to do (braided nylon cloth ones just look silly and fake and they don't sit right, and burlap ones are too janky and fray too easily)

I had the original of that too, but why would he get a remake? Was he really that popular? Transmutate got only one episode, but I can understand him getting a toy as a fan vote. And sorry for bringing up Inferno, didn't realize the division between his forms.
I had almost all of the Beast Wars characters from the TV show, so while I wouldn't want to re-collect all of them again, I certainly wouldn't mind having an updated version now. I noticed Silverbolt is coming out soon, I wonder if his back part in robot mode is still as bulky as before. Quickstrike would be nice too at that rate.

Never assume that just because a character is your favorite, that the character is everybody's favorite. While Dinobot is certainly one of the most popular, I'd say BW Megatron is too. Plenty of other characters are probably higher up than Tigerhawk as well, such as Optimus Primal, Black Arachnia, or Waspinator. Heck, I hear more people talk about Depth Charge and Rampage than about Tigerhawk. If you love him, then that's great, 'cause everyone should get to have their personal favorites, and I'm not even saying he was disliked or anything, but he definitely wasn't anywhere near the most popular character besides Dinobot.

finally caught ROTB for 3 bucks on prime video. it's like they put bumblebee, AOE and TLK in a blender then let an intern edit it
i did like the surprise reference to apelinq, and i did splurge on a core arcee to go with my beast alliance weaponisers (man i want to fuck this arcee model bros) but otherwise i wouldn't even watch it again
you can skip the first 16 mins and just start at the mirage SOS theft honestly. coincidentally all the whitey bad shit was in that first 18 mins too
prime is still really murderous and says 'kill' like a dozen times, even says he'll take a head. way too heavy bayprime still
stratosphere was literally a shittier ROTF jetfire
the ending was the EXACT same as TLK too
airazor didn't even transform into robot mode, and the terrorcons only went alt mode once too
they had 2 novokaine/freezer chase scenes

I wanted a big different colored guy with cool arm blades and segmented forearms, and probably a completely different transformation because whatever he's a new character, differentiate him. and that way let the ape mode finally be like in the movie instead of compromised.

I liked Rattrap because his outlook was so close to my own, even as a kid. Cheetor seemed like a tryhard dork, Rhinox had his own thing going on, Dinobot is certifiably insane, Silverbolt is delusional, Bossbot had delusions of heroism, and Spidertits was a literal Predacon. Rattrap seemed to be the only bot in that ship with his head on straight, I never thought of him as untrustworthy though that's how he came off to others in-show, he was just a cynical pragmatist. And he was right.

Funnily enough, that's a deliberate part of his characterization. Both Fuzors were fucked up, both physically and mentally, because of the way their pods were damaged, to the point where their personalities ended up being completely dominated by a single defining trait. For Quicksting, he was all about bloodlust - it didn't matter who's side he was on and who he was supposed to be attacking, so long as he was killing something (which is funny, because he never even comes close to getting a single confirmed kill on the show at any point). With Silverbolt, it's honor - he develops an obsessive knight's code of chivalry, to the point where he's willing to defect from Megatron for being dishonorable (though to be fair, he was never given a Predacon shell program, but still. Quicksting certainly made no attempt to even question his allegiance), as well as to drive him to seek out and rescue a 'fair lady in distress ' who didn't want to be saved and wanted nothing to do with him (at first. He grew on her). That the rest of the cast both acknowledged he was nuts and called him out on it repeatedly shows it was abnormal even in a cast full of wacky lunatics, which is part of what made him endearing.
Incidentally, people hated his Beast Machines incarnation because a series of events that leads to his Spark getting extracted from his damaged Fuzor chassis and (eventually) ends with it getting put into a brand new, uncorrupted one 'fixes' his personality - he loses the chivalry bit and reveals that he's a depressed mess with serious self-doubt issues, and while he gets over some of it in the end, he never quite goes back to his BW personality in the end.

Jetstorm was cool; I suppose the only real consolation on that one is that he technically lives on in Silverbolt - Silverbolt himself said that Jetstorm was basically just a facet of his own (true) personality and that he actually enjoyed being him during the time he was a Vehicon, so he's still in there somewhere. I'd certainly still take the cool jet over that horrible condor mode (actually an extremely butchered griffon, if the circumstantial evidence is to be believed), though.

I'm really disappointed that the new Pretenders don't have inner robots. They could have been modified Titan Masters, like that guy here did with Bludgeon. I don't think any interpretation of Pretenders will please everyone but that would have at least fulfilled the "robot inside robot" aspect.

I want the arms so beefy that something has to slim them down in robot mode, part folds away or something. and I want those tiny lil legs which would presumably just sit in sockets on the thighs, after the robot mode legs swing out from the huge muscular hump of the back. or down from the chest perhaps, if you wanna make room for the gorilla head. there's lots of possibilities, all of which are more interesting than 'stands up'

It would take some funky engineering to get the hands to fold against the forearms, but I love that idea. too many small-handed gorillers. make em big! big for punching!
putting the robot legs into the arms would probably immobilize them in beast mode, but.. it's still super unique and I can dig it. and I like the torso having a hinge at the waist, we almost never see that anymore and it's a valid way to bulk up an altmode instead of the robot torso

Got my Legacy Armada Prime with Over-Run rifle upgrade while also opening Armada Megs to go with him. Megatron could have been so much more but he's okay for the price I paid, Optimus however is great & I don't even feel the need to transform him to his super mode.

Its the Tim Studio upgrade kit. It came with Over-Run & another rifle for combined mode. I bought my Prime used so it came with it but you can buy the kit on Aliexpress if you want it.

Die-cast is cool when its used purposefully. like for certain parts that need more structural integrity or to help with balance, but a lot of KOs seem to just throw it out there willy-nilly on figures that werent originally designed for it and it can throw some things off. idk how feasible it would be to underscale some figures, maybe in more simplified forms though? I could think of a few things I'd like to see get that treatment. What I'd really want is for some of the legends stuff to get upscaled to chug scale. I've always thought Iron factory stuff looked really really cool btu I've never gone for any of it because they were just *too* small and would stick out like a sore thumb with everything else. I remember there being some OS legends stuff for a while but it was this weird annoying midpoint where it was bigger but only by like 20%

We got CW devy downscaled to the same size as the other CW combiners and MP10 downscaled to voyager size, both with decent to great results, Devy needs better plastics, but thats issue is unrelated to its scale, MPP10v is the best voyager Prime, they even fixed the forearm gaps from the original.

yeah i don't expect MPs to get that treatment exactly, but some of the thirdparty MP-scale transmetals seem like they basically follow the toy, which means it can't be that hard to scale them down.

Got a mini-haul. MP Buzzsaw and Rumble/Frenzy/the blue one, and POTP Elita. Rumble is great, no complaints at all. Buzzsaw is very good but his backpack winglets are scary tight to transform. Elita is surprisingly good all things considered, not amazing but good enough.

IMO diecast should mainly be used in feet or on any small/narrow transformation parts that you'd otherwise have to worry about breaking.

okay, take Kingdom Tigatron's krelbows. That thin piece of plastic, it's doing okay because they used the hard nylon, but otherwise it would be in trouble, and that's a good spot for die cast. it'd still be touching plastic, not other die cast.
