I like the idea of a cool little RC car for indoors, but I don't know much about them. I like what I saw in picrel, but figured I see what you guys reccomend.

Trucks prefered but I'll go for a car if it's exceptionally cool and high quality.

WLToys is a reputable make and Banggood is a good store. I do not see a problem from a design standpoint, though the brushed motor is a little bit old fashioned. I would say go for it, but buy a couple of extra batteries.

P.S: Check out some of the RC helicopters, if you are interested. They are really good (and easy to fly).
