My current thoughts are that licenses that are both in LEGO and Fortnite (Star Wars, Marvel, DC, maybe Indiana Jones, Stranger Things, or Horizon off the top of my head?) will be in, but nothing that LEGO hasn't touched/may be "too mature" (Halo, Resident Evil, etc). I did get all the Clone skins when they dropped, so I'd love to play the LEGO-fied versions of them (and get a 2020 version of the Wolfpack trooper too, haha).

Overwatch was a disappointment, and I say this as a fan of Overwatch before Blizzard went full retard.
The main disappointment being the lack of minifigures for all the base game roster and the Overwatch 2 set getting cancelled because of the Blizzard sex pests. It's a shame, because I was hoping that would lead to more sets based on Blizzard series like WOW.

Anyone else really loking forward to this? For me it looks fantastic, both the main model and the alternatives. Maybe the price is a bit too high, but hopefully it won't be only in Lego stores like the birdhouse and other retailes will sell it a bit cheaper

Actually it's the opposite, Lego has been dying for years. If Lego Fortnite gets annoying kids to by Lego sets to get figures of their favorite skins and keep Lego afloat, I'd be happy.

Still doesn't make sense. Many "normal" sets have all these things. Moreover, the amount of plastic here in terms of volume or weight, despite larger pieces, is equal to maybe a $20 or $25 set at most.
I'm disappointed because this new Wyldfyre fig is exclusive to this set.

My older brother. His bought Lego mainly star wars since the 90s. He had a 6 figures business out of it.

Epic Games bleeds money every year and they just laid off almost 1000 employees recently. I always see Fortnite toys on clearance at every store, pretty sure Fortnite is dying these days.
I feel like this new Lego partnership is a desperate move by them to remain relevant but they should have done this like 3 years ago. I suspect Lego Fortnite will have a similar fate to Lego Overwatch, not a long lifespan.

Yes. I got it for Christmas when I was 10. It splits into two, has a small buggy-type vehicle and one more tiny vehicle stored in one of the side compartments. It's not very swooshable, but damn it's good. I also have the medium one. I used to make big wars of them vs Space Police Solar Snooper.

This is one of the best sets Lego has ever produced. I was skeptical about the set as I owned 6979 with motor and lights. and thought that set is the true flagman of the line. Not long ago I managed to get 6975 and LOVED IT. It's so awesome when you encounter it in person! I love how buggy can be stored inside the saucer.

I want to build a minifig scale cyberpunk city with skyscrapers that like, can have minifigures doing stuff in the interiors of. What are the most cost effective pieces to use for the individual floors and walls/windows?

Decided to do a little Christmas display with the stuff I had laying around.

Hey there y'all. Been a big fan of Lego fr a long time and as we all know, gluing sets is frowned upon in the community. That has been my experience anyway. To get to the point, some years ago when I was in my early teens I used some Elmer's...I think crafting glue, on the Ideas Tardis set....it is really ugly looking now and is kinda just flaking off for the most part. However I would really like to clean and then rebuild the set. My question is, what is a safe way I can remove the glue(thankfully not Krazy glue) and not damage the bricks or printing on any that may be printed. thanks very much in advance for any advice you could share.

You missed the beaver. Creator does brickbuilt animals so you can use the pieces for other stuff in the alt build. Brickbuilding a fish that sticks to the rod is probably more effort than it's worse for minimal extra piece trade off. Sometimes they use frog molds too, they probably limit it to animals that are tiny and have no printing

Creator 3 in 1 sets have three models to build with the same parts, if she's not super into Harry Potter or something that would probably be best.
For new sets you can just shop around at different shops like Target and on Amazon to see which has the best price for the set you want. The Lego website tends to have the worst prices.

the mech has some nice bulk (im not a fan of that core wave being all mechs) but the dragon i only see value in the unique printed head..... it will allow for a possible pilot season inspired dragon moc (im having crazy ideas ever since legacy fire dragon and i need more of the classic pilot dragons seen brought back elemental dragon from more recent wave works quite nice as new "lightning" though)

I had a Cobi set when I was a kid and remember it being super shit quality. Recently bought one of their WW2 tanks because I'm a massive fag about that shit and it's very nearly on par with lego. Seems their tolerances are ever so slightly more loose than Lego. Sometimes pieces stick a little too tightly, but nothing set up loose like I remember.

I'm a big lotr fan, also I think Rivendell just as a display piece is more aesthetic than a gray castle as much as I like gray castles. None of mine actually open. Had always been just about the building for me. When it comes to interiors I’d honestly say you’re better off trying to build a Mansion or a castle. You don’t get to really enjoy a penthouse interior if the building is too tall. In the pic The tallest one is about 5’10”. A lot of your stuff looks moc’s from off hand parts. Methinks you could make some haloanon tier stuff if you PaB or followed a color scheme. A gundam or even the smaller mecha from various shows are def in your realm.

Thank you, i actually ordered some stuff from bricklink the other day (my first time because fuck paying 50 for shipping) and just waiting, i ordered tons of tiles and bricks in olive green to make a mech i already have in mismatched colors, there is also a lego store with a PaB wall 3 hours from me so i'm planning to taie a trip next month, wish me luck ill keep You updated

I only ever bought one Speed Champion car because I actually liked the car. I got two others because I found a guy who comes up with about a dozen or so builds for each car. A lot of them are just other, simpler cars but there are also boats, helicopters, and a yard truck in one case.

Has there been any official info (no speculation) on these space sets? I first saw them in the city sets and like many wrongly assumed it being a subtheme. But having space themed sets appear in different themes is kind of clever. Though I wonder why thats the case. Do they want to test the waters and see if Space is still popular? Do you mean just wave 1 or overall?
If the former, Turbo. If the latter, I'd say Millennia is the best as a playable set while Blaster has the coolest recolours. Since the latter two were bigger sets they don't come with the cool swooshable pod/canister, however, so I don't know if that's a deal-breaker.
