I cannot remember the last time I bought something from them that was not poor quality.

In my experience, yes. Better than AMT who's molds are half trash in my experience. Cannot speak of MPC or Monogram's quality. Never had any. But I also haven't bought any modern kits from the last 15 years to say if quality has slid.

It's the George Adamski ufo. A very popular early ufo design of the 60s. Supposedly a Venusian scoutship photographed by Adamski when he met a Venusian named 'Orthon' in the Mojave desert in 1952.

kind of ironic because in most of their german WWII boxart the Swastika is either not there or very unrecognizable.

speaking of the topic, they make European car models that the japanese brands won't touch, but their wheel assembly is very weird and unconventional.

Back in the '80s, Revell licensed a bunch of models based on Macross, Dougram and Crusher Joe. They released the models under the name "Robotech Defenders." DC published a comic book miniseries based on the models, but neither the models nor the comic books were related to the Robotech cartoon from Harmony Gold. Revell also licensed a toy called Blockman from Takara and rebranded it Robotech Robolinks.

It depends on what it is, because Revell is a frankenstein company. There's bits of Matchbox in there, a scattering of old ESCI, a pinch of AMT, a helping of Monogram, from Monogram comes a little Aurora, then there's there own legacy tooling, and whatever new stuff comes out of Revell Germany. Some of it is pretty good, some of it is new, some of it is old but surprisingly decent, some of it was and always will be a dog's breakfast. Scalemates is useful here, you can look up a kit of interest and work out its true heritage.

even japanese companies do this. Tamiya, Aoshima, and Hasegawa will still use the ancient molds from 70's that still has the battery box in it because they can't be arsed to revise the engineering on their old kits to match the current year standards.

Well the Revell one is based on the alleged Nazi saucer not the alleged ayyy lmao saucer. Unless there are Nazis on Venus like in the newer Wolfenstein games.
