There was some kind of cross between Lego and Meccano that my friend had when we were kids. You could make architectural models with it. Anyone know it?

Oh now that takes me back. Late 70's? My best friend had a bunch of these and we'd combine them to make the tallest building possible. These were lots of fun.

I had this set. Was lots of fun but corners on the vertical column pieces broke off too easily rendering them useless. After awhile all I had were girder pieces and not much to attach them to.
