for a long time they were the guitar strings of nerd stores. They probably cost the retailer a dollar and people were dropping 8 to 18 dollars

It's fun to have a collection of characters from many different properties all under one unified style. I don't buy Funko Pops because I think they are ugly, but if they weren't I would probably have hundreds of them.
