Mattel aswell as Gisnep's other usual merchandising partners shit out a zillion Steamboat Willies throughout 2023 to milk the look for every last penny. At this point, if you arent waiting to see some extreme redesign of mickey get a toy, just pick and choose from one of the dozens that saw release last year.

They still have the trademark though and I would bet you a fat wad of cash Disney has it in licensing agreements that they have ownership of any molds produced for their licensed products. So if Kaiyodo wanted to release a Steamboat Willie figure, their legal team should probably say they'd have to create an all new one that is in some way different from the previous version.
