What do you all use for storage of your extra parts for your figures? I use pic related but have thought it might be bad with having parts rubbing against each other when moving the box around

They outright have all kinds of holes for different types of accessories.

there is even a section on top with a transparent cover if you want some often used stuff to reach without opening the case.

I keep the boxes and leave them inside. It takes tons of place but it's impossible to find an alternative that fits all accessory sizes.

Cut up some pieces of clear plastic bags or bubble wrap to place in the compartments under your figure parts as a sort of cushion. It'll stop things like hands from moving around when you pick it up. Try to also not put things of different colors in the same compartments and don't stack parts on top of each other with the intent of putting more into one container.

i think if you have something so fragile that even just being in a box with other, say, spare hands, would cause paint to rub off or parts to break, then you need a straight-up padded jewelry box.
I use these and they're great. the only tough part is now that i have four of them, i'm sure as fuck not going to buy one that doesn't match, and it's sometimes difficult to find that exact one again

at the very least you can cut up the plastic trays and keep tray-sections to hold weapons instead of the entire box. i keep those sometimes just for future moving of delicate figures with lots of soft, bendable parts.

Yeah, I keep my import boxes more so I don't have to worry about paint transfer on faces, hands, and accessories than for potential selling or moving. For non-imports I just use a tackle box like OP and a drawer for the things that won't fit in it.

I've used similar style tackle boxes for various different figure lines for years. I can't say I've ever had a problem other than forgetting which compartment a specific set of hands is in. I get the ones with removable dividers so I can set them up for even longer accessories like rifles and swords. I can fit most stuff except for larger stuff like plastic capes and what not, but I keep those in their own drawer. I have like 8 or 9 of them by this point, for some stuff like domestic figures that all have distinct enough parts, I combine stuff until a compartment is filled. But for stuff like imports, I dedicate a single compartment per figure, usually because imports end to have more accessories then most domestic lines I collect.

Inside a little IKEA drawer box.
Each figure inside a polypropylene bag, and inside of that bag one or more smaller bags containing the different accessories. Punched holes in the bags to allow airflow for the chemicals of the paint or whatever cancerous shit is inside.

I use these for my "special" lego parts (transparent, gold/silver/chrome, printed tiles, etc) and they're really good because you can swap the little containers around into whatever orientation makes sense to you, and the lid is tight enough you can store them on their side and the parts won't mix. There's two versions with the same overall footprint, but different sizes of little yellow boxes inside.

I think harbor freight has a knockoff version but I wouldn't trust that to stay closed as good as the Stanley one.

I have fodder parts in little baggies, inside a box (decorative). The fodder that I am selling is just inside a plain box (but also in individually baggies.

Of course, it's two matching hands to say a Marvel Legends figure, then yes both are in the same baggie, but I do agree that it's not good to have surface painted items continually bouncing around against each other. But since these are not being moved, I think I am safe.

Although it doesn't feel like I have as much fodder as some of y'all do.
