Also, i really haven't taken my figures out of their boxes since November or October because too busy.
So far this year I'm just playing catch up to everything i missed on multiple hobbies and organizing what kept coming in over those months.

I used to collect them, but with the price hikes of regular releases being in the $120 range, I can't say they're worth it anymore. Especially since they're whole fomo mentality makes even pre ordering the shit you want a hassle. Just not worth it, plus their QC is really hit and miss.

I used to think the problem was just inherently cloth goods at 1/12 scale, but China is killing that game right now. Turns out Mezco just sucks at it.

I like their OC Donutsteals and properties that kind of play to their aesthetics (The Warriors, The Shadow, Dick Tracy etc.), but I've never been impressed with their attempts at traditional superheroes. The accessories are great, but the soft goods and their stocky superhero buck just aren't it.

Yeah, but not enough news and too many delays to sustain a thread, and the autosage sealed the 1/12 clothed general's fate as well.

I'm genuinely surprised that The Shadow is ahead of schedule. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turned out. I might get the Art figure if he has good accessories, but I'd have to buy two to make one a blood splatter version.

to be fair, all toylines have increased their price since 2016 and figures that come with as many accessories as the Star Trek figures did cost under $100. So unlike a lot of other lines, they haven't decreased the amount of pieces you get with your toys.
