It would be an extremely boring and repetitive build, potentially for a ridiculously oversized set. I'm not really into Villeneuve's aesthetic style and I don't like Dune enough to bother getting this set anyway but this works as a lego set a lot better than a sandworm would

Because modern corps are all currently mired in lazy cash grab mode. Plus it's a hard sell to get parents to .buy what will like like a giant turd for kids especially at niche Lego kit prices.

You'd have more luck getting them to buy the harvester or carryall but you gotta face facts that the designs of most vehicles in the new movie are uninspired at best with the ornithopters being a standout. The civilian one looked better imo.I don't know why they tried to make all the ships look like they were made out of stone. It didn't work in chronicles of riddick, it don't work in Dune either.

The ninjago dragons without specialized printed head pieces look great and perfect next to minifigures. Nobody's saying to build a cow out of bricks. The new dinosaurs suck because they lack brutally in articulation and aren't sturdy enough to make up for it.

It’s lego everything comes off as fake without some imagination and suspension of disbelief. I like the classic animal moulds and the current horse moulds as well but most of them and most other moulded lego creatures have way too little articulation for their size and using bricks and technic pieces instead allows more unique designs with more articulation. I think there is a size at which the trade off occurs around the size of an elephant or the og dragon where the relative possible detail with bricks is low enough that moulded will be better, but most moulded Lego monsters are shit, the only good all moulded dragon is the original one, the others don’t just lack in articulation they also look shit and not like lego

Based activity enjoying CHAD! I have an older cousin who’s a moderately acclaimed author and he routinely plays with LEGO. He even admits the play sessions influence his work.
