does anyone like Small Soldiers on /toy/? It's one of my favorite movies even if the toys are a little lacking in some areas.

That video is from some scammer fuck who doesn't actually own Small Soldiers, rather the IP is split in some legal hell and no one wants to bother making merch for toys that already failed at retail once before. Thankfully we have 3d printers.

I love that fucking money and I always wanted some toys because the designs are sick but I'm not going to pay for an old toy with almost no articulation and I don't think any company is going to make new toys

Still have this mag in my longbox. They really thought Small Soldiers would be a smash hit. They had interviews with execs talking about doing a cartoon, a giant archer plush I've never seen anywhere else. Makes me nostalgic.

Looks like this was from a different mag, Lee's Action Figure News & Toy Reviews #66. Had to dig pretty deep into the long box for it.
I can take some scans tomorrow for those interested.

you're in luck if you like researching Small Soldiers then, they had a fuckload of merchandise they released for this movie and had a lot more planned...
You can see here they used prototype toys in some of these photos that also appeared on the cardbacks for figures. Extra printing and paint on Brick for example.
I have some interviews to scan too but the big takeaway is just an exec bragging about their plans to make a cartoon next. Shame the film bombed.
