Couldn't see a customs thread so thought I'd start one, just saw this absolute unit turn a Kenner Swamp Thing Transducer into a Borg assimilation chamber. Made any customs lately /toy/?

Made thigh extensions for my Devastator since the upgrade kits for non-Jinbao Gravity Builders are basically totally unavailable at reasonable prices. I don't really know 3D modeling and don't have a PC currently, banged them out in Tinkercad on my laptop. He looks a lot cooler now, doesn't have dwarf proportions anymore.

But no, I haven't though of a name.
Wouldn't know what to call her.
Although in my head she's some sort of native American/Mexican figure.

Why is it that, when a company paints a figure theres little to no paint flaking.
But when a customizer paints a figure, theres flaking and/or the paint cracks?
What kind of paints do companies have, and is there no way for us to get those quality paints?
Why do we have to shave down a figure to avoid paint rub/ flaking?

If I recall, the industrial paints used in factories on action figures are actually quite toxic before they dry. That shit could never be sold at any hobby store/site, you’d have to contact the industrial chemical company that produces them (and they probably only sell it by the gallons at the smallest).

Definite yes one the shoulder pads, I'd say thicken up the lower legs and have some parts that stick up from the knees. Looks really cool though. Also hope you're doing well.

I save all kinds of scraps for such occasions. Maybe try going to yard sales and flea markets. Get old fake jewelry and bracelets with straps.
Some of em have patterns on em.

mcfarlane TDKR armored batman. if you want something smaller go for one of the older iron man marvel legends or concept series figures. the subterreanean armor might be your best bet. if you want the harness/shoulder pad thing I suggest looking at marvel legend fodder lots. you could probably frankenstein together a cable or deadpool harness with the iron man shoulder pad.

Only fix is to disassemble things as much as possible to get in the joints and sand surfaces down so they have more clearance. Insane pain in the ass, and not even possible for some types of joints. Just the struggle with customizing sadly.
